Built in 1995 with the approval of Shanghai Municipal Government, Baoshan Urban Industrial Park is a municipal comprehensive export-oriented high-tech industrial park. The planning area of Baoshan Urban Industrial Park amounts to 5.98k㎡, in which the industrial land occupies 4.35k㎡.
It is located at the intersection of Baoshan, Jiading and Putuo, close to the Fengxiang Road Exit of the Outer Ring Road. As the hub of shipping, railway, road logistics transportation and the municipal industrial park closest to the downtown, it features of convenient traffic and superior geographical location. It is not only a key point for the outward radiation of the hi-tech industry of Shanghai, but also a bond connecting Shanghai and other provinces and cities, as well as a bridge by which other provinces and cities enter Shanghai and march to the global market.
Firmly upholding the general tone of “seeking improvement in stability” and the overall guideline of “innovation-driven transformation development” and relying on its fourfold advantages of regional traffic, infrastructure & supporting facilities, policy support and planning layout, the park on the one hand strives for the accelerated development of the manufacturing industry through the integrative development of the secondary and tertiary industries, and on the other hand actively promotes industrial transformation and functional upgrading, thus to explore a path of the manufacture-related service industry in the park. Based on technical R&D and supporting facilities and supported by the advanced manufacturing industry, it is planned to be built into a comprehensive park which prioritizes the headquarters economy as its core and integrates production, living and ecological functions.
Currently more than 200 domestic and foreign enterprises have settled in the park and formed three backbone industries, i.e., automobile parts, daily use chemicals and equipment manufacturing industry. Among them, there are nearly 1/3 of foreign-funded enterprises, six Fortune 500 enterprises, 34 hi-tech enterprises, one academician workstation, three municipal technology centers and six district-level technology centers. By continuously accelerating its industrial structure transformation, it will be built into a new type comprehensive industrial park witnessing the integrative development of the secondary and tertiary industries.
Yangtze Delta SMEs Shanghai Headquarters Base
Developed and constructed by the brand developer Greenland Group, it integrates residential, office and commercial supporting facilities, attracts pioneering enterprise, outsourcing service enterprises and other related SMEs of Shanghai and nearby regions to settle in the park, and aims to grow into a headquarters and entrepreneurship base of SMEs in the Yangtze River Delta region. The base is divided into various functional blocks of different sizes, including supporting apartments, SOHU office, LOFT office, dining, headquarters commerce, etc. The community is also planned with a commercial plaza of nearly 90,000 ㎡, which can not only satisfy the demands of residents living in this community but also radiate those living nearby.
The project occupies a floor area of about 214 mu and a total construction 448,000㎡, and is planned to be built by three phases. Currently it has been completed.

Shanghai Bulk Stock Information Center
The project is a large-sized international comprehensive e-commerce demonstration park integrating bulk commodity information, data study, e-commerce and network technical service. After being completed, the park will possess the following three major functions,including comprehensive information service platform of “mysteel.com”, steel actuals pledge trading system of “mysteel.com”, the bulk commodity data cloud terminal project of Shanghai Ganglian, steel actuals online trading platform, information service call center platform, wireless mobile phone information platform, comprehensive information service platform of mineral resources website, comprehensive information service platform of energy resources website, comprehensive information service platform of petrochemical industry, comprehensive information service platform of non-ferrous rare earth website, high-end information introduction platform for bulk commodities, vertical search engine for bulk commodity industries, and research institute for bulk commodity industries.
The project covers a floor area of 55.5 mu and a total construction area of 92,000㎡. Currently, the project phase I, covering 47,000 ㎡, has been completed, while the project phase II, covering 45,000 ㎡, is planned to be constructed. It is invested and constructed by Shanghai Ganglian E-Commerce Co., Ltd.

SMEs Office Building
It is an office building which integrates office and commercial supporting facilities, and mainly attracts various SMEs for registration, office and operation to build an incubator of SMEs. The project occupies a floor area of 40 mu, and the construction area of the factory and office building amounts to 30,083㎡.

As a wholly-owned Chinese subsidiary of Carl Schenck AG which is affiliated to Dürr Group and the leader of Chinese balancing machine industry, it takes the first place in the industry in domestic in terms of technical level, sales volume, tax revenue, etc., and has become the center of Schenck in the Asian-Pacific region, responsible for the R&D, production, sales and services of products in the Asian-Pacific region.
The enterprise occupies a floor area of about 45mu and is expected to be completed in 2015. Its phase I construction area and planned phase II construction area are respectively 21,800㎡ and 9,000㎡.
